Document Intake

Send documents the way you already work.

No portal to log into, no format to prepare. Forward an email, drop a combined PDF, snap a photo, or POST from your own system — every path lands in the same validated pipeline.

Freight teams already move waybills by email and PDF all day. AWBGuru meets those habits instead of asking you to change them — four ways in, one clean stream out.

Email intake

Forward the email. That's it.

Every account gets its own inbox address. Forward the message your dispatcher already sent — master and house bills attached — and AWBGuru pulls the attachments in automatically.

  • Your own address. Send or forward to the inbox on your account; no new tool for the person on the other end to learn.
  • Attachments pulled automatically. PDFs on the message are detected, separated, and queued — the email body is just context.
  • Set-and-forget forwarding. Point a mailbox rule at the address and a whole channel of paperwork flows in on its own.
  • Same pipeline out. Whatever arrives by email hits the same extract-and-validate path as everything else.
PDF dump

Drop the combined PDF — we split it.

Freight paperwork often arrives as one big PDF with several waybills stacked together. Drop the whole thing; AWBGuru separates each AWB into its own record before any extraction runs.

  • Multi-AWB split. A stacked PDF is broken into one document per waybill automatically — no manual page-splitting.
  • Any stack size. A handful or a full day's batch drops the same way; each waybill becomes its own tracked record.
  • Order preserved. Every split page keeps a link back to the source file, so a run stays auditable end to end.
  • Then the checks run. Once split, each waybill flows into the same validation as an emailed or API-sent document.

Mobile capture

Snap a photo at the dock.

When the only copy is a paper waybill in someone's hand, point a phone at it. The capture is auto-cropped and deskewed on the device before it's ever sent, so a tilted desk shot still comes through clean.

  • Deskew on device. Edges are found and the page is straightened locally — no separate scanner, no perfect alignment needed.
  • Auto-crop. The waybill is isolated from the desk, hands, and background before upload.
  • Capture anywhere. Dock, counter, or truck cab — a browser on the phone is all it takes.
  • Straight into the queue. The cleaned image joins the same validated pipeline as every other path.

API

POST straight from your TMS or WMS.

If your system already holds the document, skip the inbox entirely. POST the file to the documents endpoint and a webhook fires the moment the result is ready — no polling, no portal in the loop.

  • One POST to send. Push the file from your TMS or WMS and get an id back to track it.
  • Webhook on completion. AWBGuru calls you back when the record is validated and ready — your system stays the source of truth.
  • Machine-to-machine. No human in the loop on the happy path; the exception queue is there only when a field needs a person.
  • Same result shape. Whether a document arrives by API or email, it comes back as the same structured record.
